Five-Month-Old Female
ADOPTED!
11-6-2010

Hello! My name is Sadie and I'm living with my foster Mom, Merrie Lee and my foster ECGRR rescue alumni brother, Toby.  Plus an old cranky parrot named Jake and a nutty little cockatiel named Merlin.  They're ok, but I don't know why they like those seeds.  I'd rather have a milkbone and an ear rub any day!

I'm only five-months-old and my foster Mom says I already have TONS of personality.  I'm not sure what that means, but she smiles when she says it so I guess it's Okay!

Being a puppy still, I LOVE to chew and have all kinds of "puppy fun".  But, I'm also learning to walk on a leash and I've already learned the commands "SIT" and, of course, "NO".  I'm almost potty trained (my foster Mom makes lots of happy noises and sounds when I go potty in the backyard....she looks pretty silly - after all, I'm just going potty!  It's really embarrassing!).

I LOVE to run and chase my brother in the backyard.  It's fun to steal his tennis balls and chew toys when he's not looking.  Everyone who meets me says "she is SOOO adorable" and I receive lots of petting and hugs.  I really like that!  I especially like to sit on everyone's laps and sleep on the bed.  I just love to be LOVED and KISSED on!  I like to ride in the car too, but I don't hang my head out the window like my silly brother Toby.  He looks goofy doing that!  But my Mom says "just wait---you'll do it too!".

I almost forgot, I'm up to date on my vaccines and ready to go to my "Forever Home" as soon as I'm spayed.  I don't know if I like that or not because I don't have a clue what that is.  The one thing that my new "Forever Family" has to know is that I might need hip surgery later on. My Foster Mom is waiting to hear what the doctor has to say about that. If you think you could love me and give me a great home I promise to make it worth your time and effort.  Fill out the adoption application and mention me by name...Sadie #10097.
