Ginger #10095 Print E-mail

Three-Year-Old Female
ADOPTED!
10-8-2010

Ginger is a small spayed, female golden - less than 40 pounds with a beautiful face and pronounced blond eyelashes.

She came to us through a county animal control facility. Her former human "family" simply abandoned their home, leaving Ginger and 4 other dogs to fend for themselves.

Great around strangers and completely house trained. A well behaved little lady, she knows her name and such commands as sit, stay, come, and lay down. She will roll over in a heart beat.

Ginger loves to ride in the car - will watch the traffic for a while then lay down and go to sleep. In the house she likes to lay close to people. She accepts going into a crate but it really isn't her favorite place to be.

Unfortunately Ginger is heartworm positive.  She is scheduled to receive treatment very soon.
