It's hot out her so let's go for a swim!

Star is a sweet 3 to 4-year-old female mix.  She is now with a foster family and is doing fantastic.  She is house broken and obedient and walks beautifully on a leash.  She is an extremely smart dog and very expressive.  She is very gentle and loving and is happiest just being with her family.  Her coat is soft as silk and she just loves to be petted.

Sadly Star has Bi-Lateral Hip Dysplasia in both hips and Spinal Spondylitis - a long word for severe arthritis.  Star is on a diet to lose weight, walking, swimming and is taking Glucosamine and Chondroitin tabs, fish oil and buffered aspirin to help her with her pain.

Just a fun day at the Dog Beach in Pensacola Florida

Star will be a great addition to any family with or without other dogs.  We do recommend that she be in a home where there are older children who will understand her Hip Dysphasia and arthritis condition.
