Have you ever wondered what type of dog breed fits your personality?  It’s an important question when finding a good companion, which is why the Fort Walton Beach Dog Daze was hugely successful in helping people experience a variety of dogs in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.  Dog Daze 2009 was held on October 17^th, and was attended by hundreds of dog lovers who enjoyed incredible weather, furry friends and great entertainment.

This popular all day event included music, pet readings, canine demonstrations as well as games for dogs and their owners.  Everyone enjoyed the Agility & Dachshund Races, Doggie Fun Zone and the Canine Good Citizen Test.  The event even offered micro chipping services for your pets along with some memorable photographs.  The event was sponsored by the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the following organizations:   AKC Responsible Pet, Petland, Petsmart, Northwest Florida Daily News, 102.1 the Wave, Mix 103.1, Fly 92.1 the Party Station, and the Northwest Florida Daily News.

 Emerald Coast Golden Retriever Rescue (ECGRR) raffled many items, including two roundtrip tickets (offered by Air Tran) anywhere in the United States.  ECGRR would like to thank everyone who supported the ECGRR at Dog Daze; your donations and community support are critical to the long-term success of our organization.

We look forward to seeing all of you on November 17^th, which is the Canine Carnival; this event will be held at Gulf Place on 30-A in Santa Rosa Beach.
