Success Stories - 2005
Layla Rescued 4-May-05 Adopted 28-May-05 Three might be company but four's a party when your a Golden owner! This is Layla. She is a 9 month old Golden who came to ECGRR as a owner surrender. In her short life she was bounced around from house to house never quite "fitting the needs" of the people who were taking her in. That is not true anymore! Layla now lives with her adoptive mom Patti, and sisters Sierra 10, and Hannah 3. She also has a new canine sister Foxy who is a 4 year old mix. Layla has just become one of the girls. She has made a wonderful addition to this All Girl Party! Patti tells us that Layla has done well since coming into their home. Being only 9 months old she is a Chewing Machine as mom affectionately calls her, but will grow out of that with time and patience. On the brighter side she is not afraid of thunder and does very well on a leash. Upon arrival to her new home, Hannah would call her "otter dog" (other dog) because she could not quite pronounce her "L's". Layla doesn't seem to mind at all. She is just happy and content to be with such a loving family. Thank you Patti, Sierra, and Hannah for giving Layla her forever home. Always remember and don't ever forget GIRLS RULE!
