11-23-2010 Update:   Abby is growing up very fast.  She is growing into a wonderful puppy and pet.  Here are a couple of recent photos of her.

Abby is an 11 week old lab mix puppy who was literally rescued off of death row from a county shelter!  She wasn't going to be placed up for adoption due to an infection on her paw.  ECGRR had to step in and give this sweet little baby a chance at a loving "Forever Home".  Abby will be spayed and get her third set of puppy shots in just a few weeks. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her after just a week:   "Abby is a sweetheart.  She is a happy, bouncy puppy who loves to play with the "big dogs" and loves to snuggle when she is tired.  She is very smart.  She is doing very well with potty training outside and does well in her crate.  She has not pottied in her crate for the past three nights.  She is beautiful and smiles all the time.  What more can I say, she is perfect!  She does love to grab onto your pants legs and follow you everywhere.  She takes long walks with down to the barn and stays right beside me.  She is brave, not afraid of horses or cats!  Her adoptive family should not miss this precious baby stage as she is growing everyday!"
