Success Stories - 2005

Bear

This beautiful dog is Bear.  He was surrendered at PAWS by his owners and they called us to find him a forever home.  He is a BEAUTIFUL dog.

Bear was adopted by Pam and her husband.  Originally they were going to take him into their home and foster him until we could find him a forever home.  After the first night they knew that Bear would become a permanent part of their family.

Pam tells us that he is an angel in a dogs body.  He is very affectionate and a pleasure to be around.  His passion is tennis balls!  At last count they owned about 50!  He carries them around so much that he ends up tearing them apart and then they have to be replaced.  He even sleeps with them!  He would play fetch outside all day if mom and dad were available.  As with most "children" Bear never wants to fall asleep for fear that he might miss something.  When he does fall asleep, he is sitting up and when he does fall asleep his head hits the floor and he wakes back up!!  If that's not a comedy act we don't know what is!!

In her words, Pam tells us that Bear has been a great blessing to their family.  He has an unexplainable look of sweetness in his eyes and is very gentle with their young son.  They love him and could no longer imagine life without him.

Thank you Pam and your family for giving Bear the love and the home he needed and deserves.  Your lives will be truly blessed owning such a great dog.
