8 year old female
ADOPTED!

Sam is a very pretty girl. Even though she is 8 years old, she has lots of energy and loves to play. She wants to be close to you at all times, and she loves to lay at your feet. She also loves to give kisses.

She is very good with people and dogs, but she is a little too rough with cats. It may just be that she has not been around cats much. She is now living with a cat in her new foster home, so hopefully, she is getting better with them. She is housebroken and crate trained. Her foster family is working on some obedience training with her. She is an owner/surrender because her owner died, and his brother rescued the dog and surrendered her to ECGRR.

Unfortunately, Sam is heartworm positive and is going through treatment.  She will be available for adoption soon, so if you think that you'd like to give Sam the home she dreams of, please complete an adoption application and mention her by name.
