6 month old male
ADOPTED!!

My name is Magic.  It's appropriate, I think, since it must have been the wave of a wand that saved my life.  I was only a couple of hours from being put to sleep when someone came to my cage at the shelter and said, "You're being rescued by the nice people from Emerald Coast Golden Retriever Rescue!"  "Retriever" I understood; but what's this Golden part?...must mean my color!

Here's what I know about myself.  I was found as a stray and brought by animal control to a kill shelter. YIKES!!  I'm a yellow lab boy, probably about 6 months old.  I'm up to date on all my shots; I just need to be neutered.  I've been told that will happy VERY soon...OUCH!!  I'm just getting over a bit of kennel cough, but otherwsie I'm healthy.

I'm a happy puppy who just wants a family to love and a backyard to run around in.  I love to run around and play!!  The family needs to be ready to teach me everything I need to know about being a good an obedient dog.  I'm a retriever, so doesn't that naturally mean that I'm overly intelligent?  If you would like me to share your home and life, please, please, please tell these people that you want me!!
UPDATE:  This is what Magic's foster family has to say about him:
Magic has been in our home for about 2 weeks now. First and foremost, Magic is
a wonderful, sweet, and very loving dog. He has adapted to home, which includes
two other dogs and one cat, very well. We believe he is approximately 9 months
old. He is learning basic commands, socializing great with other animals. Magic
does still need to be completely house broken and he is sometimes really timid
of new things especially when he is going for walks
.
Wouldn't you like to share your home and life with this wonderful pup?  If so, please complete an adoption application and mention him by name.
