6 year old Male
ADOPTED!

This is Ralph.  Just Ralph.  He looks like a Ralph and acts like you would expect from a Ralph.  This male golden was adopted recently at 6 years old by an older couple who discovered they were a little too infirm to care for a normally active larger dog.  Now, easygoing and sensitive Ralph is looking for a new home.  In his foster home, he enjoys the company of a yellow lab and even two cats.  He is gentle around a four-year old girl and craves the attention of people.  He is pretty mellow, but can get playful with his toys.  When he gets excited, he 'talks.'

He is a good indoor dog, but also loves the yard.  He rolls in the grass every time he goes out.  He likes going for a walk and is learning the leash very quickly.  It seems no one taught him basic commands, but he is breaking with tradition by learning some 'new tricks' in his foster home.  He is also learning crate training--more out of solidarity with his young lab friend.

Of course Ralph has all his shots, heartworm, and flea treatments.  Let him show you how much he loves riding in the car when you take him home.
