 10 month old female ADOPTED!
Miss Maggie is a 10 month old Golden and Great Pyrenees mix (we think) who came to us when a kindly person took her in as a stray. She is up to date on shots and but still needs to be spayed. Her foster dad says she is a shy, timid girl who is starting to come out of her shell and show the typical Golden velcro personality.
We don't think that Maggie ever lived in a home before but she is doing really well. She has only had one accident, sleeps all through the night on her bed, and is enjoying 2 walks a day. Please be sure to check back soon for updates as we learn more about this wonderful puppy! Here's Maggie's Success Story told by her new family

Last October my husband and I started looking for a forever friend for our Golden Retriever, Zach. I was checking rescue sites for goldens & ECGRR had this adorable picture of a Pyrenees/Golden mix about 12 months old. After reading her story, I immediately filled out the application and e-mailed it to ECGRR. Later that evening we were called and told that we were approved for adopting Maggie. The next morning I was on the road from St. Augustine, FL to Pensacola to meet Maggie. I took one look at her & knew it was meant to be.
Maggie is now 16 months old, healthy, happy, loves our golden Zach (21 months old). It was love at first sight for these two & still is. What is amazing is they never met, we took a chance and God worked out the rest of the story. They share everything, go to a 25 acre dog park 4 days a week, swim play in sand, roll in dirt and are so well balanced. With both having white

My husband & I cannot thank Emerald Coast enough for the care you gave Maggie before we adopted her. She is so well behaved, walks easily on leash, and knew basic commands. Someone worked with her and did a great job.
We took one look at Maggie and said " Welcome to paradise." She completes our family and we love her dearly.
Thank you ECGRR! Elsie & Gary Jordan
