Cadillac Jack

Cadillac Jack (CJ) contracted heartworms and the original owners could not afford the treatment. They decided it was in the best interest of the dog to give him up to a new family that could better care for him. The Emerald Coast Golden Retriever Rescue paid to have CJ treated for heartworms. While undergoing treatment at a local vet, one of the woman vet techs fell in love with CJ so she and her husband adopted him. CJ is fully recovered and now accompanies his new dad to work at times, much to the delight of his co-workers.
