Help us help Abigail!  Abigail came to us after being hit by a car and left to die. ECGRR was contacted and rushed to the rescue.  This sweet girl has now had 7 surgeries - both her back legs are fractured - and will need a great deal of expensive care and rehab.  Despite her ordeal, she is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever seen.  CLICK HERE to read Abigail's story.

• Louise (II) Print E-mail

This adorable little girl is Louise II (her foster family is calling her Libby) - sister to Thelma.  Although both girls have the wonderful Golden temperament, Louise/Libby got the Golden coloring in the family - and who can resist those beautiful light eyes? This sweet baby is great with kids and other dogs - we're not sure about cats because as far as we know, she hasn't been exposed to any.  She's amazingly calm and well behaved for a puppy, and has fit into her foster family like she's always been there. This is what her foster mom has to say:

Libby is a doll.  She has had no accidents in our house.  She is learning to sit and shake.  Libby is very willing to please.  She absolutely loves my kids.  She bathes them with kisses whenever possible.  I am working on getting to walk well on a leash.  She plays with toys as if she were a kitten.  She pounces them and flips them up in the air as if playing fetch with herself.  It is fun to just sit and watch her entertain herself.  She has done well with both male and female dogs. She enjoys sleeping right next to the people's beds at night.  I only crate her when I leave the house.  Overall,  she is a great pup that is very mellow the majority of the time and frisky as a kitten when entertained by some toy.

Here's a picture of Princess Louise with her tiara!

If you think that Louise would be a good match for your family, please complete an adoption application and mention her by name.

UPDATE:  Libby has found a wonderful home!!
