• Sammy Print E-mail
1 year old male
ADOPTED!

This adorable guy is Sammy, a Golden/Lab mix.  Sammy came to us from a local kill shelter and is learning to navigate his way through the mysteries of living in a real house with people, and dogs, and cats, and everything else that goes with it.  His foster sisters, Karma and Brandi (an ECGRR alumni) are showing him the ropes.

His foster mom reports that "...He is so great. Better each day... he is undergoing interaction etiquette training with Karma and Brandi, including being cool to cats, kids, not eating other people/pet’s food and learning not to “mouth” etc...he is sooo quick!"

Sammy is a lovable goof who is basically still a puppy.  He would be great in almost any home, but would do best in an active family that understands that he wants to be part of everything that is going on.  He will also need to continue with learning the manners that will ensure that he can be fully involved in his family's life.

If you think that you might want to make Sammy part of your life, please complete an adoption application and mention him by name.  You won't be sorry!!

UPDATE:  Sammy found his forever home with mom Erica and big brother Jake!
