• Thelma Print E-mail
4 month old female
ADOPTED!

This precious girl is Thelma, who along with her sister Louise, was pulled out of a kill shelter.  Although they are not Goldens, our volunteer was unable to leave these sweet girls to face a certain death at the shelter.  Unfortunately, that's an all too grim reality for the millions of pets taken to shelters every year.  Another reality is that shelter animals are often exposed to a variety of diseases; and as you can guess, these girls became ill a few days after leaving the shelter.  Fortunately, they recovered quickly and are now healthy and ready to go to a new home.

Luckily, there will be a happy ending for these darling girls (and the lucky family that adopts one or both of them).  They are as cute and cuddly as can be, and are full of energy and fun.  They are definitely Lab mixes and will be big girls when they grow up.  As Honorary Goldens, they'll make a wonderful addition to the home(s) that is willing to take the time to teach them to be valuable and well-mannered canine family members.

If you're willing to make one or both of these beautiful girls part of your family, please fill out an adoption application and mention them by name.

UPDATE:  Thelma and Louise found a home with a pair of boys to call their own!
