• Rudolph Print E-mail
3 year old male
ADOPTED!

Meet Rudolph - a 3 year old male who came to us from a local shelter.  He's a bit on the thin side, and is just beginning to learn to live in a home where someone will care for him.  It seems that he was in the shelter for a long time because no one thought he acted like a typical Golden - they didn't understand that he was completely stressed out by being in the shelter environment (all of the other dogs used to laugh and call him names - they never let poor Rudolph join in any shelter games).

Right now, we think that Rudy might be happier as an only dog, but hIs foster family reports that he is a sweetie and that he is quickly learning to adjust to "life on the outside" with treats, toys, a soft bed, and kind hands and words.

Please check back soon for updates as this beautiful boy is evaluated in his foster home.  If you think that you might be willing to give Rudolph a forever home for the holidays, please complete an adoption application and mention him by name.

UPDATE:  Rudy found his forever home with Nathan - it was love at first sight!
