Sam is a 2-1/2 yr old male who is being surrendered with his brother Gus due to his owner's allergies. Sam likes kids, but may be a little too active for very small kids. He will go away from children if he doesn't know what they are going to do. He usually won't jump up on people. Sam likes to play ball, but he wants you to take it from him...he's not a giver. He likes rubber chew toys. Sam is very affectionate and likes to hold hands, and he will mouth your hand to take you somewhere he thinks you should be. Sam loves to watch TV, especially House Hunters, westerns, and anything with animals.

We would love to see Sam and Gus adopted together as they have been inseparable for all their lives. ECGRR will offer a reduced adoption rate for the special person who is willing to make both dogs part of their family.

UPDATE:  Gus and Sam have been adopted by a wonderful family - and the best part is that they get to stay together!
