Bentley # 10046 Print E-mail

Update 7-27-2010 from Bentley's foster mom: Bentley is a wonderful and loving friend, and I have had no problems with him in my home. He does love to play with his toys, wrestle, play chase, and would do well in a home with children and perhaps another dog to play with. At the dog beach, he only lays in the water to cool and does not retrieve the tennis ball as the others do. Perhaps he would with more opportunities. He is NOT cat friendly, but I have not let him too close to my cat, as he seems too excited. He walks well on a leash with a choke collar. He, as usual, is my shadow. Bentley is a fluffy and weighs 85 pounds. My daughter, who is 19, and I adore him. He also loves shadows, and seems to entertain himself chasing them. This is probably due to the lack of attention from his previous home, as they kept him outside. We've found that he actually prefers attention from someone rather than chasing shadows, but will revert back to that behavior when bored.

Bentley's new summer hair cut.

Bentley is the product of a divorce.  Neither family member could take him with them.  ECGRR stepped in to save him from going to a county kill shelter.

Bentley is a five-year-old male who is neutered and up to date on his vaccines.  He has the typical golden personality - loves people and play time.  Bentley needs to learn some manners and how to obey his people.  He's been given very little training or attention.

If you think Bentley is the guy that will fill that void in your heart and home, then fill out an online adoption application and ask for him by name.

I'm a handsome boy!

Can I go home with you?

Look at that coat!
