Help us help Abigail!  Abigail came to us after being hit by a car and left to die. ECGRR was contacted and rushed to the rescue.  This sweet girl has now had 7 surgeries - both her back legs are fractured - and will need a great deal of expensive care and rehab.  Despite her ordeal, she is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever seen.  CLICK HERE to read Abigail's story.

• Sad Day Followup Print E-mail

We've had some progress in getting out the word about the destruction of a golden we tried to rescue from the Bay County animal control facility.

The local newspaper, The News Herald ran a follow-up story on July 15th in which they interviewed ECGRR member Bill Hyde regarding the incident. You can read it from this link:

Local Panama City television station, WJHG Channel 7 interview Bill on July 19th for a story run on the evening news that day.  This video can be viewed from the WJHG website through this link:

While the golden girl's death was tragic, it appears that some good will be coming from it.  A big thanks to all of you that helped spread the word!
