There have been documented pet deaths reported to be related to commercial pet foods manufactured by Menu Foods.  This company distributes pet foods under a number of other company names. 

Menu Foods is a major manufacturer of wet dog and cat foods in both cans and pouches. According to news reports, Menu Foods supplies 17 of the top 20 North American retailers as well as many branded pet food companies.

At this time, the brands that have been recalled are "wet" foods — those that include soft food and gravy (canned or in pouches).
