How to Adopt

Before you go any further, there is some important information you must review. We hope you understand it is important for us to go through some procedural matters prior to submitting your application!

We have implemented a "recommended donation structure" as information for potential adopters.  These amounts are negotiable, but serve to provide a ballpark figure.  Please remember, donations and fund raisers are the sole income for our organization.  All funds are used exclusively in returning these gentle animals to good health and finding appropriate homes. All of our members volunteer their time and transportation services and we receive no compensation.

All adoption fees include spay or neuter, all vaccinations, and a clean bill of health from a  veterinarian.  ECGRR will disclose any known health issues before adoption.

Our 2006 average expenditure on each rescued Golden taken into our program has been $270,  with the bulk of the monies being used for heartworm treatment and spay/neutering  these unwanted or homeless dogs.
